Conference on “Scenarios and Perspectives for Florentine and Tuscan business in Malaysia”

Considering the interesting business opportunities in Malaysia, the European School of Economics, Confindustria Firenze and the Malaysian Italian Chamber of Commerce & Industry have decided to organize a seminar on "Scenarios and Perspectives for Florentine and Tuscan business in Malaysia".
The aim of the event is to give an overview of the Malaysian socio-economic situation and to provide operational information on the most interesting productive and prospective business sectors such as fashion, agricultural and food industry, interior design and furniture, health, energy and environment.
Malaysia is one of the most interesting and dynamic countries in the economic landscape of South-East Asia. In fact, the Malaysian GDP recorded an average increase of more than 5% between 2000 and 2008. After a decline in 2009 due to the international financial crisis, it has reclaimed a fast growth pace. This is mainly thanks to a new economic model that was launched by the government aiming to reach the status of economically advanced country by 2020.

Date: May 21, 2015, 9.30-13-30
Location: European School of Economics, Borgo SS. Apostoli 19, Firenze (Florence), Italy
